Studio Work

Studio work

The studios we’re talking about here are big empty spaces.

Empty, at first glance…

For example, let’s take Studio H at MELS.

The image comes from HDMEDIA.

It is a huge space that is ready to accommodate sets, props, lighting equipment, cameras and all the necessary technical equipment.

The full studio document is HERE.

Studio H is one of the largest studios in the Montréal metropolitan area. The image above gives an idea of the dimensions of this type of studio.

Example of a decor set up in a studio.

A film studio, with its outbuildings, brings together the spaces and services for making a film, but television is also used for series, games and dramas.

In addition, a studio is often suitable for shows, quizzes or broadcasts with an audience, live or recorded.

However, it should not be forgotten that several broadcasters have their own studios which are equipped more specifically for the needs of their productions.

Working in the studio requires a particular organization. As the place is very versatile and flexible, it allows us to implement sets or stage devices that are limited only by our imagination. This goes from creating part of the interior of an Egyptian temple, to partially reconstructing a village street, or even building, on the same level, three floors of the same house.

To carry out a project in the studio, you can count on me.

Moving easily from the world of opera to that of Quebec dramaturgy, Claude Goyette has designed more than 150 scenographies for theater, opera, dance, cinema, television and events where he has created interior and exterior designs.
